politics.co.uk smashed all previous traffic records during the 2010 General Election, confirming its place as the UK's leading dedicated political news website.
The website recorded more than 385,000 visits between April 14th and May 14th and more than 620,000 page views. This is triple the amount of traffic in an average month during the previous 12 months.
The figures are an endorsement of the combination of hard hitting political news, comment and analysis pursued by editor, Ian Dunt.
Ian said: "The excellent traffic figures are reward for the long hours worked by the whole of the politics.co.uk team during the election period.
"The challenge for us moving forward is to show those people who visited politics.co.uk for the first time that politics is genuinely this interesting all year round."
